Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of ChartedCV at https://chartedcv.com, operated by [Legal Entity Name] ("we", "us"). By creating an account or making a purchase, you agree to these Terms.

1. The Service

ChartedCV is an independent, AI-assisted tool for writing and checking resumes and cover letters for nursing professionals. It is built on third-party AI models and is not affiliated with or endorsed by any AI model provider, hospital, health system, nursing board, or applicant tracking system vendor.

2. Eligibility and accounts

You must be at least 16 years old and able to form a binding contract. Keep your login secure; you are responsible for activity under your account.

3. Purchases: one-time payment, no auto-renew

• Plans: Job Search Bundle — $39 USD, one-time, 30 days of access from purchase. Lifetime Bundle — $49 USD, one-time, access for as long as the Service is offered, subject to fair use (Section 4).
• No subscription. No auto-renew. You are charged only once per purchase. We will never charge you again unless you make a new purchase.
• After the 30-day pass ends: your documents remain downloadable (PDF/DOCX), but editing and new AI generations stop. You can upgrade to Lifetime for the difference in price.
• Seller and payments: [Legal Entity Name] is the seller of all purchases. Payments are processed securely by Stripe; we never see or store your full card number. Prices are in USD and exclude applicable sales tax or VAT, which is calculated and shown at checkout based on your location. We are responsible for collecting and remitting applicable taxes. Your receipt comes from us via Stripe.
• "Lifetime" means the life of the Service. If we ever discontinue the Service, we will give at least [60] days' notice and let you export your documents.

4. Fair use

To keep the Service reliable and affordable, the Lifetime Bundle includes up to 200 AI generations per calendar month. An "AI generation" is one request that produces or rewrites content (for example, tailoring a resume, writing a cover letter, or rewriting a section). ATS checks [do / do not] count toward this limit. Unused generations do not roll over. We may also limit automated or excessive use of any plan that harms the Service.

5. No guarantee of employment or results

The Service helps you prepare application documents. We do not guarantee interviews, job offers, licensing outcomes, or how any employer's applicant tracking system will rank your documents. ATS match scores are estimates based on the text you provide. You are responsible for making sure your documents are accurate and truthful.

6. Your content

• You own your content: the resumes, cover letters, and information you upload or create, including AI-generated output produced for you, to the extent permitted by law.
• You give us a limited license to host, process, and transmit your content (including to AI providers) only to operate the Service for you.
• You confirm that you have the right to submit your content, and that it does not include other people's confidential or health information.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to: - include false credentials, fake licenses or certifications, or misrepresent your qualifications; - upload patient information, protected health information, or other people's personal data without permission; - generate unlawful, harassing, discriminatory, sexually explicit, or harmful content; - reverse-engineer, scrape, or resell the Service, or share accounts; - try to bypass usage limits or security measures; - use the Service to build a competing product, or to train AI models.

We may suspend or close accounts that violate these rules. If an account is closed for a violation, it is not eligible for a refund except where the law requires one.

8. Refunds

See our Refund Policy ([refund-policy.html]). In summary: full refund within 7 days of purchase.

9. Intellectual property

We own the Service, including its software, design, templates, and sample library. Samples are fictional and provided for reference only. Product and company names mentioned belong to their owners.

10. Third-party services

The Service relies on third parties (AI providers, hosting, Stripe). We are not responsible for their outages or terms, but we will work to resolve issues that affect you.

11. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE". TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. AI OUTPUT MAY BE INACCURATE.

12. Limitation of liability

TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM IS LIMITED TO THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM. WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR INDIRECT OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOST JOB OPPORTUNITIES OR WAGES. Nothing in these Terms limits rights that cannot be limited under applicable consumer law.

13. Changes and termination

We may update these Terms; material changes will be emailed or shown in the app. You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time.

14. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of [Governing Law Jurisdiction]. Disputes will be resolved in [Courts / Arbitration Venue], except where consumer law gives you the right to bring claims in your home jurisdiction.
